Dear Friend, As we look over the past year and see that 1391 Tonnes of paper has been used in producing 75 Million pieces of literature – what can we do but thank the Lord in the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 68:28, “O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.” We need to recognize and acknowledge that this has not been due to our endeavours but all the glory and praise must go to Almighty God. Think of all the literature that has been produced and let us continue to pray that the Lord will use it to work in the lives of millions of people.
We don’t need just to look back but we also need to look forward into a new year, and therefore we cry “Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.” We need to build on all that has gone before, we need to continue to help a multitude of Christian workers with Gospel Literature, we need to produce even more literature, touch even more lives – but we cannot do this without the power of God working in and through us. Let us each join together as we look to the Lord for his strength and enablement in reaching out to the lost with the message of Salvation.

The following is a report from Pastor Anacleto of Every Home for Christ in Mozambique: We praise the Lord for yet another demonstration of Christly love by our partner “Souls for Jesus”. Diane, and her team, sacrificed their time and resources to come and speak the Good News about Jesus in Mozambique through distributing shoes to thousands of needy Christians in 4 villages in Sofala province. It was common in all of the villages visited that great multitudes were attracted. The distribution started with the village headman and his assistants being the first to receive shoes since they represent the government.
There were a total of 21 churches in participation and to them it was a unique thing to witness. They had an opportunity to feel the love of Christ and it was all smiles as people received shoes! There was also tremendous humour as the various toddlers screamed in fear since it was their first time to see white people! The beneficiates of the shoes were also blessed with a Gospel of John for them to read at home and learn more about the love of Christ. After the distribution the people enjoyed a meal of rice and goat meat provided by “Souls for Jesus”.
In Rua Gomingo the distribution started after some devotions. As the people received shoes women dashed to the school to take out their kids so that they may also receive shoes and this left no one at the school! The school was forced to close and the school head sat in her chair with tears flowing down her cheeks until Anacleto went to talk to her and assured her that it was only for that day and she was not supposed to worry since the kids will be back in school the following day. It was smiles and smiles as people put on the shoes and some for the first time in their lives!
The printed pages power was seen as the people would find somewhere to sit after receiving shoes and start reading the Gospel of John. The Gospel tracts made the people to understand that the centre of the distribution was Christ Himself and His love for the people had made the people send shoes to them. Most of the people were putting the shoes on for the first time and they couldn’t hold back their smiles. Some could be seen with tears in their eyes and I remember the old saying which says, “tears cannot bring you joy, but joy can bring you tears.”
India Bible Literature sent some testimonies from their school of evangelism:
One of the students called Subrah Manyam is conducting ministry in a village called Katuru. He started a prayer cell in this village. A man named Dasu who has no faith in any God began observing the Christians praying and singing and one day he came inside the prayer hall and saw the members singing. This man is a heart patient and asked for prayer. After he went home he started thinking about the prayer and he agreed to go again to meet Subrah Manyam. He knelt again for prayer and this happened several times. Dasu found some change in his heart condition. He consulted many doctors about his heart problem. Surprisingly, he found some changes in his health and he was breathing without any problem. Then he accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and has taken baptism. He became a faithful believer of Jesus Christ.
Deva Kumar is conducting ministry in Kukumbakkam village. He visits the houses of the village people with Gospel tracts, Gospels of John and other printed material, distributing to the people door to door. Mr Yesopaiah in the village, with his family members, listened to the Word of God. They are from the Gadaba community and have no faith in God. Now the family of Yesopaiah have obeyed the Gospel and are attending the church. There are about 1,300 people in this village, but the Christian people are less than 2%.
Chandra Babu is working in Pusalapalli village. He has been distributing Gospels of John and a lady named Chinnamma who is 60 years old is a Hindu. She is a widow leading her life with a small government pension. She was a strong believer in the local god Venkateswara Swami of Tripi. She worshipped this god with fear from her childhood. After she came to know Jesus Christ, she found that her life she spent is cursed and is useless by worshipping the gods of this world. She likes the Scripture from Psalm 115 where she came to know that the idols are silver and gold but Jesus is the living God. She did not know how to pray before she became a Christian but, after she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour, she learned how to pray. She cannot read so she gets somebody else to help to read the Bible to her. Please pray for her.
The following is a report from St. Kitts and Nevis, in the Caribbean:
God is working in St. Kitts and Nevis in raising up many highly trained children’s volunteers. Trecia recently took CEF “Teaching Children Effectively” and requested material to teach the children of her church and community. With Christmas soon approaching, Trecia wanted to teach the children the Christmas story in a deeper way. Because of the generous donation of the Revival Movement, the CEF office now has a supply of “Life of Christ” flashcards which we can give to volunteers like Trecia.
She was excited and very appreciative and begins soon this series. Without this donation of printed literature we would not have been able to help her. Now she has a six week series disciplining children in the Word of God. A trained worker now equipped with quality printed curriculum. Our deepest thanks to Revival Movement Association supporters. … Sean Miller
From Guyana. On Tuesday next week we are expecting delivery of the next consignment of literature which you sent to us. We had great joy distributing the supply of literature that you sent last year. For me the greatest blessing has been the use of the Wonder Devotional book. Our biggest partner in this effort is the Body of Christ and many churches are interested to receive this. Also it is a critical need for the spiritual growth and development – a much needed discipleship tool.
Yesterday I spent most of the day marking these devotionals. We have over 300 students at Green Acres Primary using the booklets. Two weeks ago we had 5 students literally jump for joy when they received their copy. We are out of supply now.
Ijaaz, a 10 year old Hindu boy and his mother, are doing the devotionals together. Yesterday I did a quiz with grade 6 students on book 4. Most of the students are completing on time and growing in the process. I told the students when I was 10 years old nobody was distributing devotionals. We are so grateful. Please pass on this message. All CEF Guyana staff are full of appreciation. Vedawattie Ram, Guyana.
POLAND – Dear Samuel, I am sending you another testimony from another Mission with whom we work closely. We have given these friends some of the “Every Day with God” booklets to help them in their work with the young people. I plan very soon to have Volume 2 ready for printing and we will look forward to receiving these in due course. Konrad
“A Christian Mission among children called ‘Love, Education and Maturity’ organised 4 camps in Poland. During the camp we were teaching the children to study the Bible on their own and, each day, we were studying Psalm 1 in small groups. The children were encouraged to read and study God’s Word after they get back home. We hope that the books ‘Every Day with God’, Part 1, will be a great encouragement and help in getting to know the Lord and His Word better. Each participant (about 175) got a booklet at the end of the camp along with the tract, ‘How to get from Poland to Heaven’. With all of our hearts we want to thank you for this gift. Our hearts are filled with thankfulness for seeing the fruits of God acting – the testimonies of boys and girls who gave their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ during the camp.” Disia.
We are expecting delivery of over 100 Tonnes of paper during the month. This will cost over £70,000.00 – please continue to pray in regards to the very large financial needs that we have in the work. Thank you once again for all your support in this printed page ministry.
Yours for a Great Revival,
Samuel Adams Clive Allen
