300,000 Homes being visited in a door to door campaign in France
Some of the 24 pallets of literature all strapped and wrapped ready to leave the factory for France and Bulgaria on 27th February.
Dear Friend, in Acts 5 as the Gospel was beginning to be preached, the apostles were arrested and imprisoned. The evil one was seeking to stop the message being published just when the church was in its early stages. God miraculously intervened and sent an angel who told them to “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life” (verse 20). Satan’s purposes were overthrown, the “words of this life” were proclaimed and many were brought from darkness to light. Pray that in our day, through this ministry, God’s purposes in salvation will be fulfilled and Satan’s opposition defeated. Thank you all for your continued prayerful and financial support for us in these days.

Dear brother Samuel, May God bless the Revival Movement Association and the great ministry you do in the whole world. May God provide all your needs and continue to use you for returning many souls to Him. I want to thank you so much for the leaflets you continue to print for us. It is a grace from the Lord to receive them from you. May God reward richly for the great work you are doing for us and Bulgarian people.
God blessed us very much last year and we reached a record number of families. We distributed leaflets to 359,971 homes in 327 villages and 37 towns. We received 658 answer cards which is a huge increase from last year.
Last year we organized four camps for distributing pamphlets. One of them was in a region populated only by Muslims. Some Christian leaders told us to not go there. It was the first time when Christians are going to every Muslim house with the Gospel message. Yes, at the beginning we were scared, but we prayed to God and He protected us in a wonderful way.
One team told us how they found in one village a shadow on the street in front of one house to eat their sandwiches at the lunch. The owners of that house saw them and they brought a table and chairs from the house. They gave to our team also coffee and milk. One other family invited one of our team to take the lunch together in their house. When my brother Petar asked them for permission to pray, they answered: “We are Muslims, but please pray because we want to learn how to pray to God”.
But many people refused to receive pamphlets. When they saw that they are about Jesus Christ, they refused. My brother Alex said to one man: “All the people from the village took the pamphlets, only you refuse”. After that this man accepted the pamphlet. A woman refused and said: “I am a Muslim and I cannot take. If I will give you something about Islam, will you take? Our teammate said: “Yes, I will take it.”. Then that woman said: “But I don’t have anything to give you to read”. Our teammate answered: “But I have something to give you and so please take the pamphlet”. Then that women accepted the pamphlet. One other Muslim man said to me: “I don’t want to take your pamphlet. There is only one God”. I answered him: “I did not say to you that there are two…” After a long discussion that man accepted the pamphlet.
Many people refused to take pamphlets because they thought that they have to pay for them. Other people wanted to give us money and everybody wanted to give us 2 leva (1 Euro) for a pamphlet. We said them that is it a gift and people accepted them. But we could not understand why all the people want to give us 2 leva. At the end we learned that 2 leva is the monthly fee the people from the village have to give to their Muslim Imam.
One man received the pamphlet and said to our teammate that he cannot read. So, he asked our teammate to read it to him. So, our brother began to read. From time to time he stopped and asked that man if he understands and that man answered: “It is very good. Please continue to read to me”. One team told us how in one day they saw on the balcony of one house a man with his boy near him reading the Quran. When our team gave them the pamphlet they accepted it. With one hand the boy held our pamphlet and in the other – Quran. Now he can choose what to read and what to believe.
Sometimes the Police stopped us and asked us what we are doing here in the Muslim region. One day a Policeman said to one brother from the team: “You are mad or very courageous”. One woman was very open when we presented her the Gospel of salvation. She asked us how she can know what sin is and what is not. I said to her that the Bible is God’s Word for us and it is like a mirror for the soul. We asked her if she wants to receive a Bible. She never heard about the Bible. Praise the Lord that I had a Bible in the car. I gave her the Bible and I explained to her to begin to read the New Testament. She promised that she will read the Bible with her neighbours who joined into our discussion. At the end I prayed for them. During my prayer, she could not take her eyes from me. I think she never saw somebody praying to God.
God blessed our mission among Muslims and we are so thankful to God for the possibility to spread the Gospel to them. The distribution continues with full power and in many parts of the country. Many churches are involved in the ministry. I will share with you one more story. One summer day my father had gone to a village to distribute leaflets and one man asked him: What you are spreading? My father said him that these are pamphlets about Jesus Christ. He said: “We from this village are not believers. We don’t have a church and we don’t believe in God. But this is not so important. The important thing is that we didn’t have rain from the New Year. Everywhere rains, but only in our village it doesn’t.” Then my father asked him: “Do you know why you did not have rain? I know and it is because you don’t believe in God”. That man thought for a while and answered: “Probably you are right. We are not good people”. My father said him then: “But today it will rain in your village. I came here and I brought you the God’s message of salvation, God’s word and now you will have rain.” That man said: “It cannot be. But if it will rain I will believe in Jesus”. My father said to him “You will see that it will rain today”. After a few hours it started to rain. My father could not finish the distribution in the whole village. For half an hour he stayed in the car and waited for the rain to stop. But it continued. So, then he left the village. God is working in a wonderful manner. Now that man has all the evidences about God’s existence.
We would like to request for a further 350,000 leaflets for our outreach work in 2014. You see God is working and many hearts are touched by the Written Gospel.
Please send our thanks and appreciation to all your team in Revival Movement Association. May God help everybody who makes possible the printing of our pamphlets. Thank you so much for your love and sacrifices. We pray for all of you! Pavel Valkov, EHC Bulgaria.
Dear brother Samuel, It is a pleasure to me to inform you that the container has arrived save and well. Please receive also some pictures they took during the unloading of this container. (On the left) Thank you for sending this shipment! We appreciated it very much! We trust it will be a blessing for many, in the spreading of the Gospel, and that also many will come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. Pastor Engels. Venezuela.
