Supplying Gospels of John to 10,000 Pastors in Southern Africa
Dear Friend, Down through the ages men and women have asked many and varied questions concerning their lives. None is so important than the question asked by the jailor in Acts chapter 16: “… what must I do to be saved?” Here was a man in desperate straits. The answer from Paul and Silas was just what he needed to hear: “… Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” A life changing and family changing transformation took place.
Across the world in response to the distribution of God’s Word people from all religions and none are asking the same question and the answer is still the same. Thank you for all your support for this ministry. Please pray with us that many will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved in our day.

On the 20th and 21st June I had the opportunity to visit and take part in a training programme conducted by Judea Harvest mission in Johannesburg, South Africa. Over 400 churches had registered prior to the weekend and had set up satellite dishes with decoders so that they could allow Pastors and Christian workers to watch the training in their own area. Each church had been given a quantity of our Gospels of John and had also been given a quantity of our Revival Publishing books.
Revival Movement Association has been working with Judea Harvest for a number of years by supplying them with Gospels of John for use in South Africa and in other Southern African countries as well as Sierre Leone in West Africa. Altogether we have supplied them with 2 Million Gospels of John. They have been very active in church planting often in the poor townships of South Africa where hundreds of thousands of people live.
As churches have often grown rapidly they lacked a place to worship and could not afford to build a conventional building so Judea Harvest supplied them with a Marquee, which once erected is not taken down. Since the commencement of the mission 16 years ago they have supplied over 2,500 of the Marquees to be used as churches.
As we have supplied them with Gospels of John they organised an Evangelistic, Discipleship and church planting programme called John’s Journey.
During the two day training programme the live broadcasts where recorded in a TV studio in the centre of Johannesburg with an audience of Pastors. I had the opportunity to tell a little about the ministry of Revival Movement Association especially the printing of the Gospels of John and the importance of placing a portion of the Word of God into the homes of people.
Judea Harvest had requested us to supply them with large quantities of three of our Revival Publishing books. Wondrous Love by D. L. Moody, Necessity of Prayer by E M Bounds and Weighed in the Balances by D. L. Moody. As each Pastor attending had to pay a small registration fee they where given one of the books. Then they had the opportunity to purchase at a very cheap price the other two books. On the second day I was asked to do a Book review on each of the three books. Through these books the Pastors are receiving good solid Bible teaching.
During the programme Pastors were encouraged to commence “house churches”. The idea was to find someone in a community who would be willing to invite you to come into their home and who would be willing to invite their friends and neighbours to come and attend a Bible Study each week. Through these Bible studies people are presented with the Gospel Message and many will seek the Lord as their Saviour as they study the Gospel of John. These new converts will then join a church or the house church will slowly develop into a proper church.
One leader from Malawi told how they have started 300 house churches in a region of Malawi and Mozambique where a large number of muslim people live. Many of these people will not enter a church but will be willing to visit someone’s home to attend a Bible Study.
The broadcasts were going out to around 10,000 Pastors in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi and Mozambique and we pray that as the Gospels of John and the books are used that there will be a real gathering in of precious souls to the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ…
The following is a report that was received by Sinéad Donnelly in N. Ireland who arranged for this church in Constanta to have a supply of literature.
“Dear Sinéad, Thank you for your help with the Literature. We have received 25,000 Gospels of John and 2,000 other leaflets for children. We have distributed until now a small part of them, as follows:
1. Ostrov outreach, on the 26th of April. 25 Volunteers from our church distributed 2,000 brochures, for every house in Ostrov city. (See above) We have talked to people on the streets, we prayed with them for salvation and healing, we have had a group in the middle of the city who sang songs for about 4 hours and distributed booklets to the people that were not at home.
We have discovered that a young family recently moved into that city. They are born-again Christians, although the man is not very firm in his belief. We also discovered 3 other families that know about Jesus from their parents (they grew up in homes with Christian parents, but decided to turn away from God). We have written on paper many addresses of people interested to talk about Jesus.
It was a great time for our team, also. Teenagers and young adult born again Christians that had the opportunity to evangelise for the first time in their lives, that was a great encouragement for me as a pastor and for us as servants of the Lord.
2. 1,000 Gospels were distributed on the 2nd of May in the City of Constanta. We have organised and hosted a National Youth Conference at the House of Culture in Constanta (800 seats) and on the 2nd of May all the participants were challenged to share the Gospel to the people in Constanta. We gave booklets and we prayed with people in the parks and social assisted areas of the City.
3. 1,000 Gospels of John were distributed since we received them (a month ago) in the Hospital in Constanta City by one of the sisters in our Church and through our medical clinic at the basement of the Church. People who enter our building to receive medical help also receive a portion of the Word of God. We have a special stamp that we apply on the back of the booklet with our contact details, for people to visit our website and then our church.
May God bless you richly and thank you again for your kindness. Lucian Rotaru.
Willis Lynch took a supply to Romania of the booklet “Let Him In” by Noel Grant translated into the Romanian language. The following is a letter he received.
Dear Brother Willis, We are so thankful to the Lord for you and to all people from Every Home Crusade in N.Ireland for printing the booklet “Let Him In”.
Now we have got the booklet in Romania, they are very well received. On the back is my contact details so that people can call me or send emails with questions like “what should I do now?”, “which church in my town should I go to?” and “thank you for your help pastor etc. Some of them asking questions as to how I become a believer. Every day we have calls or emails which could be up to 30 a week. One lady called me, while she was selling the vegetables on the market. One of her buyers passed her, asking her if she wants to know how to get to heaven. She did read it and now she is calling me about the church in her town.
We do not know how many people received salvation reading the booklet, but we did distribute over 37,000. Also, we have managed to distribute it in Moldova well over 10,000 copies. I received a card and a short letter from a Lady in Ploiesti, asking for some more booklets to give to her relatives, because she received one from her work mate and it changed her life, even she was a religious woman before: “Jesus Christ came to my heart and now I am a repenter !” So I am preparing her a box of 50 booklets to post to her, with the prayer that the Lord will work in the hearts of these readers .
We have just a very few left, and if it is possible we would appreciate very much if we can have some more.We have a lot to do in Romania and Moldova. We do not know what the future will provide, but because we are 1 kilometer from the Ukraine border and the customs, we see hundreds of truck drivers every day 24/7. We would like to pass on to them this booklet with the help of the young people from our church. Thank you so much for it ! All Praise and Glory to God. Cornel Haures, Siret, Romania.
At the end of the month we have received 140 Tonnes of paper at a cost of £98,000.00. Please do continue to pray that the Lord will supply all the large financial needs of the work. As you will see we have supplies of literature going to many countries – please pray for their safe arrival.
Yours for a Great Revival,
Samuel Adams Clive Allen
