Impacting the Nations with The Word of God
Dear Friend, In the year ahead as we seek to see souls won through Gospel literature the conversion experience of the Apostle Paul can spur us on. Here was a zealous man who thought he was on the right path and it took the Damascus Road experience with the Lord Jesus Christ to change his life completely. Paul writes – “Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” “And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 1: 13, 14)
So it is from one side of our world to the other, people believe and hope even sincerely in religions that are taking them to a lost eternity. We are engaged in the urgent work of the spread of the true Gospel so that, like the Apostle Paul, people repent and believe the Good News and live a life of holiness and service for God.

News from Every Home for Christ in South Africa. The following are some letters which they have received:
“My wife and I are interested in spreading the Gospel message in our farming community in the Stellenbosh district. There are so many farm workers in this area that have not yet been reached with the clear-cut message of Jesus Christ. We have found that there is a real hunger and openness amongst the people when we talk to them about the Good News and the hope that there is in God. We have decided to visit different farms on a Sunday morning at least twice a month – asking the people to gather from 10 o’clock to 12 o’clock where we will then share the message of hope, read from the Bible and encourage them to sing praise songs and pray for those with spiritual and physical needs. We want to give each farm worker a Gospel of John – “Seven Steps to Knowing God” booklet encouraging them to read through it and then share the booklet with others as well. Thank you for assisting us in this effort of ours by providing us with the booklets that we need …..”
“I have attended a Bible study group in Eduan Park, the suburb where I live, since the beginning of this year. We are studying the Gospel of John and the study leader gave each one of us in the group a copy of the booklet, the Gospel of John “Seven Steps to Knowing God” that he received from your ministry. I want to share with you that I have committed my life to God. I have so much joy in my life now. I was able to give a lot of my insecurities to God, asking Him to take care of my burdens and trusting my whole life into His Hands. I want to express my sincere gratefulness to your ministry for giving me the opportunity to commit my life to the one and only God, Jesus Christ. It is my wish that your ministry will go from strength to strength in the work you are doing for the Kingdom of God …..”
“The Evangelical Centre in the Eastern Cape has launched three prisons, six home to home, one hospital and three school projects. Praise God for the positive response and willingness of the people especially the pupils in the schools to listen to the message of salvation and hope for a better future. Learners at the three schools were each given a Gospel of John – “Seven Steps to Knowing God” booklet …..”
“Dear Brethren, We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for all the support you have given Teens for Christ, Kenya, since its inception. Because of your generosity and prayers thousands of teenagers’ lives in Kenya have been completely transformed by the Lord. We thank you with all sincerity for everything you have done as we work together towards accomplishing our vision at Teens for Christ all over the world. We thank the Lord for providing men and women, like you, to reach out to thousands of teenagers worldwide with His Word.
Several teenagers that we have reached in Kenya can now afford a smile after being reached by the Word of God and have felt huge loads being lifted from their shoulders as the bondage of sin, the guilt of sin, were lifted after receiving Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. We are witnessing many teenage lives being changed by the Word of God and the Lord has been using us to help them through their most difficult and, sometimes shameful experiences, that they never imagined could go away.
We have added 7 more guys to help in the work that has expanded to most regions in Kenya and even into Uganda. We thank the Lord for availing these people and we hope for a very fruitful future. We are hoping to be able to start working in Tanzania as well very soon. This calls for more prayer as we expand. We are now reaching 100,831 every week through the BES Lessons. We look forward to many more years of co-operation of working together for God’s Glory. May the Lord bless you and the rest of the team. Pastor Moses Omondi. BES.
“Dear Friends, Kenneth Wilson and Ps John Stark joined us for 19 days, during which time we distributed 12,000 Cebuano Gospels of John to school children in Corella, Sikatuna and Mabini, Bohol. People were surprised and thankful to receive a Gospel in their own dialect – an early Christmas gift!
This testimony was relayed to us – one young man came to know Jesus as His Lord and Saviour by reading a Gospel of John he was given. Today he is one of Ptra Antipuesto’s students in Bible School. Others reported we can see an increase in our church as we use the Gospel of John to evangelize. Philip Johnston, Philippines.
“Greetings to you, brothers Adams and Allen, At a CEF members’ meeting they asked me to write to congratulate you for the container load of Wonder Devotional books which we received. The booklets came at the right time winning children for the Lord during Christmas and the New Year holiday.
Churches and pastors sent their congratulations in the churches where the distribution was taking place. In some congregations children were fighting to receive a Devotional booklet. People are thirsty for the Word of God. Please brothers keep on sending large supplies of literature as much as you can. Angola has 18 provinces. The literature which you sent has been divided into 5 provinces – not even enough! Our prayer is for God to do miracles. May God richly bless your movement … Alberto Tenbani, APEC
“Dear Samuel Adams, Many warm greetings to you from your co-workers and supporters from Slovakia. We very much appreciate your ministry to bring good news to many countries in the world. We are thankful for printing for our children in Slovakia 600,000 tracts “Is Your Name Written There?” The following is a testimony: 6 years old Adam came to me with one special request. “Uncle, give to me the ticket to Heaven.”
“Well, Adam, but you know that there are two conditions. The first is that you have to repent of your sins.” “Yes, Uncle, I repent. In anger I have destroyed the railway toy of my friend …” Tears and prayer followed when Adam asked the Lord Jesus for forgiveness. Then we came to the second condition which is faith in the Lord Jesus. Adam again confessed his faith in the Lord Jesus. Then he again asked Uncle. “Now give me the ticket to Heaven.” I tried to explain that his prayer is the ticket to Heaven. He was content with this, but joy appeared on his face only when I handled to him the tract entitled “Is Your Name Written There?” We put down the date of his decision. Jozef Kovac, CEF, Slovakia.
Some reports from our depot in Brazil…
Hello! My name is Erika. I am a Swiss citizen. I work in the streets of Dubendorf, Switzerland, evangelizing Brazilian prostitutes. Thank you very much for the literature in Portuguese you sent us. God bless you. At the moment a friend Claus and I are dedicating some time to distribute these tracts on the streets. Many people are gladly receiving the Word of God. So far the both of us have successfully pointed 3 people to the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! We are praying so we can reach even more souls for the kingdom. We ask you to lift us up in prayer. Missions and personal evangelism are surely in God’s heart. We wish you all blessings from the Lord and plenty of success in your work for Him. Erika
Hello! My name is Wanklecio. I am 12 years old. I love reading those nice little stories about Jesus. I have recently received a tract with a beautiful story and at the end of it, it says I should write to this e-mail address to get more of these stories. I will tell you a bit about my own story.
I am not a Christian yet but I believe some day I will be. I live with my mother and my older brother. I lost my father when I was 6 years old. He had a serious problem in his heart. Those were very difficult times for me, but thanks to God I feel much better and comforted today. I attend a church many times and I will also ask Jesus into my heart, but I have never endured. My whole family is Catholic, but my older brother is a Christian and he also is a preacher of the Word. Sometimes he takes me to his church and I like that. I would like to receive from you some more little stories about God. Wanklecio, Brazil.
“Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, In Haiti we have an established church and youth organisation that is reaching out to the community of Saint Marc and Cap-Haiten. We conduct evangelistic crusades, seminars and planting churches, schools, visitation, prayer rallies, missionary outreaches and other outreaches such as social and agricultural programmes and children’s educational clubs. As we are all part of the Body of Christ in Haiti it is our intention in this letter to make you aware of what we are doing. We would be extremely grateful if you would consider helping us. We would love to have the privilege of working together with you in reaching Haiti for Christ. Your fellowship in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will be of great encouragement to us as well as a tool for reaching many with the Gospel of Christ in Haiti ….. Galilee J. Perinus
Please pray for Samuel and Carol Adams as they travel to South Africa from the 3rd – 11th February. They will be attending a CEF conference of leaders from 17 countries, they will also be meeting leaders from several S. African missions with whom we are already working.
Yours for a Great Revival,
Samuel Adams Clive Allen
