Precious Souls coming to the Saviour
through the Gospel of John

Dear Friend,
As a ministry we like to place a great emphasis on printing portions of the Word of God as we believe that God has promised to bless His own Word in a special way. That is why we print so many millions of copies of “The Gospel of John” and the scripture booklets “The Way of Salvation” and “The Gospel of Jesus Christ”. In this report we are delighted to be able to share with you news of souls coming to the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour through people reading and studying the Gospels in the Philippines and Congo. We know that this is just a little glimpse, displaying what is happening in many other countries around the world as the Literature is being distributed.
We would like to thank all of our friends for their financial support and for their prayers for the staff in our factory, for the production of the literature, and for the effective distribution of the Gospel tracts and Booklets.

40 People saved after studying “Seven Steps to knowing God” from the Gospel of John.
“Dear Samuel, I am writing from Bohol. We are delighted to share with you that the 125 boxes of Gospels of John which we received have been distributed throughout the Visayas region which includes Negros, Cebu, Bohol and Leyte. Here are some of the reports of how the Gospels of John have helped to reach people for Jesus Christ.
One pastor received Gospels of John and distributed them in a men’s prison in Cebu – another man in Bohol whose wife owns a Sari-Sari store (like grocery store) makes sure that every person who comes to her store receives a Gospel of John.

A retired gentleman in Bohol goes out walking every afternoon and when the children come out from school he asks them, “Can you read?” They reply, “Yes”. So he gives them a Gospel of John to read and tells them to let their Mum and Dad read it also.
One pastor in Cebu got 40 unsaved people for a Bible study for 7 weeks. He used the “Seven Steps to Knowing God” and preached on each of the seven steps for 7 weeks. At the end of the 7 weeks the 40 people gave their hearts to Jesus and accepted him as their Lord and Saviour. This pastor told his District Superintendent what he had done and it sparked a fire in his heart. So the Superintendent approached me and asked me for 400 boxes of Gospels of John in Cebuano dialect – one box for each church in his district where he is Superintendent so that the churches can reach out and evangelize through a Bible study style like the pastor using the Gospel of John.

I have already contacted Sowers of the Word and they have no more Cebuano Gospels of John. Can you please ship us 600 boxes of Gospels of John in the Cebuano dialect? We thank you for your ministry and passion for souls. We pray God’s blessing on all at Revival Movement Association. Philip Johnston (as in photo with the group above).

Many prisoners coming to know the Lord in Colombia
“Dear friends of Revival Movement Association, This photograph was taken on the 19th of January 2009 in Mocoa prison in Putumayo, Colombia. These are some of the prisoners who have become Christians. It has been real hard work these past 8 years in this prison. There are also Christians in other prisons in Colombia and in other countries of South America. In this prison there are 548 prisoners and of these 30% now know the Saviour. We visit in the prisons 3 days a week and our desire is that the whole prison population would come to a knowledge of the Saviour. But to do this we need your help and support with Spanish Bibles, Spanish tracts and booklets.
We also visit the families of the prisoners and they too need a lot of support. After 8 years of working in the prison in Mocoa we are now founding the first church in this prison. We hope to have our opening service on the 17th of March 2009 and we would be really grateful if you could supply us with all the Spanish Gospel literature that you can. We are also starting up the work in other prisons in this country. We hope to found churches in the different prisons in Colombia, also in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Brazil and Chile... Raulorozco Sarria.

Appreciation for supplies of Literature from Ghana
The following letters are from Challenge Enterprises of Ghana who receive our container loads of literature. The following are extracts from some of those who received the Gospel tracts:
“I paid a visit to your premises to collect one box of Gospel tracts. The entire youth ministry embarked on personal evangelism by means of sharing the good news with our unsaved friends, family members, school mates and others from all walks of life. The response was amazing and yielded positive results. We would like to express our deepest heartfelt appreciation to God and your establishment for your support given to us.” Joseph.
“We received Bible tracts from you and these tracts have aided and supported our labour in the Mission field to evangelize the Word of God. We have seen lots of souls come out to accept the Word of God by receiving these Bible tracts used as a point of contact. These tracts have also given the beloved in Christ the confidence to reach out knowing they have some materials at hand to present apart from the word on their lips. We are very grateful as we continue to be part of this universal evangelistic ministry.” Evangelist Raymond Attionu.

Victor Cardoo from our literature depot in Brazil sent news of two testimonies.
One of our tracts “Playing With Fire” (some of which have been given to the young people above) which was given to a young married man who said his family was starving with many debts to pay and only dirty clothes to wear. He was invited along to church. He went along a few Sundays later and immediately responded to the Gospel appeal. When he was being counselled he said, pulling the tract out of his pocket, “I will never forget this tract which brought me here.” Before he went home the church gave him a food basket and commenced collecting clothes for his family.
The second testimony was written by Wagner who described himself as a former drug addict and drug dealer liberated and cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus. Wagner lives in a violent district where there are many criminals who respect and listen to him. They admit Wagner’s life has been completely changed. Wagner told us that people love our tracts and the messages have touched many lives. He said, “I have many friends, and even relatives, involved in crime but God is helping me and transforming many lives. Pray for me.”
100 Souls give their lives to the Lord in Congo
“Dear Samuel, It was a real joy for me to receive your letter. Yes, Maizie Smyth was a true servant of the Lord, courageous, devout, full of love for God and man, full of determination, a woman of faith ready to make sacrifices, generous, humble, understanding and able to advise many. She was a real friend.
I think you remember me. I translated one of your booklets from English into French. Also I was in charge of the last container load of literature that was sent to Kisangani, Congo for Maizie. The literature is a real help to the church here. Two weeks ago I was involved in evangelism using the Gospel of John in the French and Lingala languages, when I opened a new church which had 146 people at the first service. One hundred of the people that I shared the Gospel of John with gave their lives to the Lord on that occasion. Your work is bearing fruit, even from a distance.
We are praying that the Lord will help us in the days ahead. I am willing to work with you to bring Christian literature to Congo and, elsewhere, for the Glory of the Lord. Literature is a powerful tool in bringing people to salvation. Pastor Lilenga Bogenda.

Left - Some of our staff on the first floor of the new factory which is being divided up into offices etc.
The two new cement floors have now been completed in the new factory. Work has now commenced on the lift shaft and partitions for the offices are now being built. Please continue to pray for all of the work which is taking place and for wisdom in the many decisions that need to be made.
Samuel Adams and Gary Bolton will be travelling to Venezuela from the 9th February - 20th February. They will be with Pastor Engels who looks after all of our literature distribution in this country. During their visit they will be involved in distributing our literature to some of the thousand churches that are in contact with Pastor Engels. Please pray for their safety and health as they travel to various parts of Venezuela.
Please continue to pray for all the large financial needs of the ministry. During the first week of February we are expecting to take delivery of 100 Tonnes of paper at a cost of over £60,000.00. We are also preparing to ship container loads of literature to Zimbabwe, Ghana, Kenya, and India.
Yours for a Great Revival,
Samuel Adams and Clive Allen
