Christmas Party Club held among remote tribe in the Philippines
A Report from CEF Philippines
Greeting in the name of the Lord!
Our CPC for the Dumagat Tribe was a true test of faith! Yes, we are aware of the threat of a typhoon, but thank God for the courage that comes from the Lord; we are confident that He is with us. We have prayed and claimed it. We also trust that His supply and protection are as certain as the dawn!
The Lord favored us with good weather, though along the way it was not as smooth as we expected. Our vehicle got stuck in the mud, and we had no money to rent another vehicle to transfer the goods. We were stuck on the road for some time, and shortly after waiting what to do, we decided to walk with some of the goods for the Dumagat Tribe.
We praise God because along the way God provided for us. He sent us Kagawad Arnel Moses to drive our vehicle to the venue. He stayed with us until we finished the program and took us to where he thought we could safely return home.
We praise the Lord for our CPC’s victory last November 8, 2025.
All praises belong to Him alone.
Going up to the mountain is too challenging, but a fulfilling task, and you really have to be intentional to go in a tribe community in highlands. One of the things we look forward to, when teaching the Dumagat children, is their enthusiasm to listen and learn. It is extremely great to receive a present, especially from people who live in the mountains and in a remote area. But it’s much more great to see them receive the gift of salvation from Christ, our Savior, who is the sole reason we keep climbing the mountains to reach Dumagat Tribe.
“Though I have served in different ministries for years, joining this tribal mission marked my very first time stepping into remote outreach. The experience immediately shifted my perspective, proving that the challenges of the journey were outweighed by the privilege of reaching out to the lost.
We went to share the Gospel, yet the profound, simple faith of the community became the greatest lesson and gift to me. That mission was an anchor, showing me that genuine ministry is about transcending comfort zones and cultural barriers to share the Gospel. I am reminded that God’s plan is vast, and it is a deep blessing to serve alongside those who share a true heart for the unreached.”
— Patricia Lynn Dumrendes, volunteer teacher
We don’t want to lose the opportunity to share the Gospel and make Jesus Christ known to these little ones. Praise God for the 114 souls who heard the Gospel and 91 of whom received Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
We also shared 5 kilos of rice, lootbags, and prepared lunch for them. We were surprised by their smiles and kind welcome. Praying the Lord continue to bless them and lead them to a believing churches nearby.
Also we appreciate your support and faithful prayers during our mission trip. Let us continue to build up one another and make ourselves always available to extend our hand to the children and to the mission. We are grateful to the Lord too for sending co-laborers and ministers whose passion is to reach out and save souls.
Our sincere appreciation for your partnership in the Gospel, may we continue to share our faith and devote ourselves to God in the service of lost. We pray that the Lord bless you and keep you.
Sincerely for the sake of the lost,
Yoradyl Bautista
